The Process of Co-Creating Limicon
Prior to kickoff, "co-creation calls" are open to all registrants as we approach the field together. New participants welcome and encouraged!
-
Wednesdays at 5pm Eastern (2pm Pacific, 9am AEDT)
-
Fridays at 9am Eastern (3pm CET, 7:30pm IST)

Upon registration you will also have access to the Miro virtual whiteboard that will serve as a playground during the Limicon process:

-
Share your offerings. What can you contribute personally and/or professionally that you would like to offer to your fellow member?

-
Share your proposals and ideas. Brainstorm event topics: those you would like to host or those you would like to attend. Feel free to add anything (no matter how bizarre) as all offerings in pencil. We suggest you think about events that can help further the inquiry of "How do we become the humans we need to be, both individually and collectively, to be in service to hospicing the old systems and midwifing the new systems that are emerging?"

-
Take notes & review notes from missed events. You likely will not be able to make it to every event. Fortunately, someone is usually taking notes. Find them here to see what you missed!

Hosting Sessions
Every member is offered the opportunity to host sessions throughout Limicon. If you are passionate about sharing your knowledge on a topic, or about bringing the community together in a fun and creative way, complete a Session Information Form, and we will add your session to the Limicon 2025 calendar. *Members, refer to your Welcome Letter for details.

Open Space Technology Principles

1. Whoever comes are the right people: Since people can choose what sessions to attend there has to be to trust, that the people that come are the right people. Even if a session only has two attendees, these two people might be exactly the right people to meet at that time to do something great together.

2. Whatever happens is the only thing that could have happened: Open Space Technology events have an emerging character. No one can possibly predict, how things might unfold. Therefore, members are invited to concentrate on the moment with an open mind.

3. Whenever it starts is the right time: Creativity moves on its own timeline independent of the meeting or event schedule. Therefore, members should be attentive to when creativity arises. Whether that is as part of the group sessions or in one to one conversations at the lunch buffet.

4. When it is over, it is over: Getting the work done is more important than sticking to the schedule. When a group is in the perfect flow, then they can decide to continue their discussions. Or, if they finish their topic earlier, the can also close the session and do something else instead.
